New Zealand will face West Indies after winning the T20I series, 2-1. The matches will all be played in Barbados, with the opening game taking place on August 17. The Kiwis are currently the highest-ranked team in the ICC ODI rankings, while West Indies are number nine.
After winning the T20I series, Kane Williamson was elated as a skipper. After winning the first two games, they lost the final game. Williamson praised the hosts for playing better cricket during the final and third games.

This group is a lot fun. It’s great to see the team grow and that’s what our focus has been. We rotated a bit. We saw some amazing stuff and are looking forward to the one day series.” Williamson said.
New Zealand has named one squad for the T20I/ODI series. Along with some other veteran players, Williamson is part of the squad.
West Indies’ Shai Hope returns to the ODI side, as Rovman Powell is resting. Powell was the Windies’ skipper in the final T20I, with Nicholas Pooran resting.
