Oscars fans who are devoted can enjoy a full day’s worth of coverage. ABC’s On the Red Carpet Live! At 1 p.m., the countdown to Oscars begins. ET. Meanwhile, E! E! will air its “Brunch At the Oscars” special, hosted Karamo Brown, starting at 2 p.m. ET. ABC will host the pre-show at 6:30 ET/3:30 PM PT. It will feature performances Vanessa Hudgens and Terrence as well as fashion designer Brandon Maxwell. The special appearance of DJM.O.S. is also included. The red-carpet will be launched on social media at 5:05 p.m. ET with host LaverneCox, before it airs live on cable and streaming at 6:30 pm. ET.
When Do The Oscars Start?
The 94th Academy Awards will air at 8 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m.PT on Sunday, March 27, 2019. After a year at Los Angeles’ Union Station, this year’s Academy Awards telecast will return to the Dolby Theater. Note on controversial programming: The winners in eight categories including sound and film editing will be announced an hour prior to the broadcast. Acceptance speeches will also be edited into the live ABC telecast.
